The SmartShot electronic initiation system is an innovative advance in technology, enabling users to achieve the accurate timing benefits of electronic initiation systems with the easy connections of current non-electric shock tube systems. The SmartShot system offers innovative features including wireless remote blasting and complete timing flexibility. Specialised water resistant and dirt displacing connectors ensure quick, easy and reliable connections, and prevent leakage. The SmartShot system features wireless remote firing, which can be fired up to 3 000 meters away from the bench. The specialised SmartShot software gives the user the ability to use customised timing to achieve blast objectives such as: vibration reduction; fragmentation improvement; ore dilution; improved cast; and other specific blasting outputs. |
